Here is trouble. He gets into everything. This is what I have him do so that I can make dinner. Today, B got his first fat lip. He fell down and hit his lip on the coffee table. I could not get it to stop bleeding. I felt so bad.

Just a few funny and cute things the kids have said lately.

My MIL watched the kids for me last Friday (it was my moms 50th b-day) and when I dropped off the kids that morning there was a deer right next to their driveway that had been hit by a car. The girls both saw it. Well I guess Taylor noticed later that the deer was gone so she told grammie that the baby deer's mommy came and put the baby on her back and took her home so she could take care of her. Rylee said no Ta-Ta the angels came and got the deer to take it home to heaven. Thought that was cute.

Another funny thing. As I mentioned we have switched our eating habits. On the way to church yesterday Taylor said mommy they give us suckers in Childrens Church. I said ok that is fine and Taylor said no mommy it is not good for us because it is not organic. I had to just laugh. I have a friend whose kids tell her she lives on organic planet-I have a feeling mine will say that to me soon also.

Tasty Toes....

Everyday I realize what a blessing it is to have 3 healthy children. They are gifts from above and I am so thankful for them. Life would be so empty without them (and very boring).

Well no bead in her ear..............

So we went to the special ENT doctor yesterday. We sat in tons of traffic to get there and back plus we waited for over an hour for our appointment. So the Dr. cleans out Rylee's ear and looks at me and says, "well mom it looks like she took you on a wild goose chase." I was like she does not have a bead in there. He said, "no and there is no infection either."

Rylee still thinks she has a bead in there so I don't know if she is telling stories or if she thinks there is something in there. She says her ear still hurts. Who knows.

So after paying 2 Dr. copays and money for meds we still know nothing.

A trip to the ear doctor.......

Well today we have to go to a special ear doctor. Yesterday when I got home from work my mom said Rylee was saying her ear hurt. So I took her to the doctor last night and her left ear had so much stuff in it he could not see if there was an infection or not. He said it looked like her ear drum burst. So anyway we left the doctor and Rylee told me that the other day at Nana's house she put a bead in her ear. So now we have to go see a special dr. to have it removed. Silly kids.

Kids sometimes say things that freak you out. Today Rylee asked how old Nana was going to be on her birthday this Friday and I told her 50. Taylor says wow she is old, but grammie is older so mommy who will die first Nana or Grammie. I could not believe it. I did not even know what to say to her. Wow where do they come up with these things.

I will try and post some pictures tonight. For some reason it is not letting me do it.

New Lifestyle Changes

We have many changes happening in our family.....

The first thing is we did a complete overhaul of our eating habits. After looking into the changes my brother and his wife were making we decided it was time to join them.

We have changed all of our food and drinks over to organic and all natural. We decided that exposing our kids to high levels of chemicals that are in our food was not a risk we were willing to take. The kids are going to have a hard time with the switch, but it is for their good. They are having the hardest time with the organic bread. I think I need to make my own. I am on day 5 of no diet pop or artificial sweeteners. WOW I think I can do it. This is a big change for me I was used to eating all low fat and diet foods with weight watchers, but they say diet foods are way too chemically processed to eat the real stuff just less of it. Just keep the kids in your prayers as we go through this change. No more junk food is going to be hard for them and hard for Nana (my mom does daycare for them) not to give them junk food.

The other big change is............Brayden is on the move. He has started crawling. Wow I can't get anything done. He is into everything. I forgot what it was like to have a little one that has no fear and wants to eat everything in site. So now we have to work at re-baby proofing the house and putting up all of the girl's small toys.

Storm Damage

As many of you know we had a bad storm go through on Monday night. At 9PM a Tornado Warning was issued so we got the kids out of bed and brought them down stairs. WOW the wind picked up and the hail started beating against our house. Below is a pictures of what the hail did to our siding. Looks like we will be getting new siding. Neighbors had trees down and damage also. It was pretty scary.

Garage Sale Worth It?

So I spent hours setting up a garage sale and hours taking it down. I thought because we have so much baby stuff that it was time to sell some of it. Well after all that work we had only about 10 people come through. I only made about $40 and barely any of the baby stuff sold. URGH. I think maybe it is not worth it. I may try again in the spring if I have the motivation. I told Todd it is a sign that we are not supposed to get rid of our baby stuff. My way of trying to convince him we still need to have one more. WOW am I nuts. For some reason I have my heart set on having a large family. We will see what the future brings. Well anyways it was a very nice weekend not to have any plans. We just hung around home for once.

Brayden's Dedication

Yesterday we had Brayden's Dedication at church. For those of you not familiar with a dedication-it is a chance for Todd and I to declare that we believe Brayden is a gift from God and a chance to vow to our church family, our family and friends that we will raise Brayden in a Christian home so that he can grow up to be a man of God. It was a special day for us.

Sunset out our back window last night. After the bridge collapse my eyes were opened to the fact that we just don't know when our last day is so we need to take time to enjoy everyday and slow down long enough to notice a beautiful sunset.

Friday night was also a very special night. Rylee and me went out on our first date ( I am going to try to spend alone time with the girls once a month). We went to IHOP for dinner and shared some pancakes, we went to Old Navy so she could pick out a new dress and shoes, we went to Clarie's so she could pick out a new neckless for her dress and finally we went to Borders and sat down and read a bunch of books together. I asked her what her favorite part of the night was and she said picking out her neckless. She loves jewelry-typical girl. I am looking forward to a date night with Taylor next weekend.
