Dance Class.......

Taylor and Rylee started a new dance class on Monday night. It is a community ed class that goes for 7 weeks. They learn two dances and have a little show at the end.
Both girls loved their first night. I was so glad. I thought Taylor was going to be bummed that we no longer have her at the dance studio. It was just way too expensive for the both of them so we thought this was a better option. They did tons of fun songs and cute little games. Both girls are doing so much better interacting with other kids and not being shy. It is fun to see.
After dance they will start a 6 week tumbling class and than in the spring we will either do soccer or t-ball.
We love this age where they start activities. It is so fun to watch them play.
Pre-school is also going well for both of them. Both love their teachers and seem to have fun every day.

Twins Game and more...................

We went to the Twins Game on Sunday. We took my dad for his 50th birthday and it was Taylor and Rylee's first game (Brayden stayed home with Nana). Everyone had a good time. The Twins lost so that was a bummer. Taylor kept asking when Joe Mauer would bat. I kept telling her he was not playing. Well in the 8th inning they put him in with a chance to tie the game. So we were all excited and cheering and what does he do....Strikes OUT. Go figure. After the game the girls were able to go down on the field and run the bases. They thought that was pretty cool. On the way home we went right by the bridge collapse. Wow it is still such a shock. Not much to see anymore, but just weird that there is no bridge there and to know people lost their lives there. Pretty sad. Todd just got home from a fishing trip. It was a nice relaxing time away for him. The fishing was not to good, but he still had fun. I was very glad when he came home. We missed him lots and 3 kids are a handful when daddy is not around :)

Taylor, Rylee and Papa in our seats at the Twins Game. We sat in the Home Run porch Row 6 so not so bad of a view.

Taylor watching the game.

Todd and the girls waiting in line to run the bases.

Mommy had to run the bases with Taylor because she was too scared to do it alone. Rylee ran ahead without us.

WOW that was a lot of work.

Both slept the whole way home-all that excitement.

Brayden and his friend Tucker playing.

Tucker kept wanting to kiss B it was so cute.

Brayden's new thing is pushing things and walking. Friday night he took 3 steps to me. WOW trouble is on the way.

Rylee starts school also.....

So at the last minute we decided to put Rylee in pre-school. Originally, we were not going to enroll her because she was not going potty like a big girl, but now she is. So we thought that she would love to go to school also. Below are some pictures of her first day of school. Taylor and Rylee both seemed to have fun their first days.

Rylee got roses from mommy and daddy for being potty trained. Finally!!!!!!!!!!!

Daddy is so proud to be watching his first football game with his SON!!!!

A nice outing.....

On Saturday I was able to have a nice outing with a friend. Todd took the kids for the night and sent me away.

I went to the State Fair to see the Mercy Me concert. It was a very good concert. Great music and great time of worship. I will post pictures from the concert later. They also had great fireworks after the concert. I videotaped that for the girls and they loved watching it.

I ate some yummy food there. I even tried deep fried pickles with cream cheese. It actually was very good. So very bad for me though. We went and seen all the little baby animals at the Miracle Birth Center. I had to take tons of pictures for the girls. The baby pigs were so cute (yet so stinky)! It was very nice to get out and have some adult time with a friend. It was a much needed break.

My hubby has also planned an overnight get away for us for my b-day in a couple of weeks. I am looking very forward to that. I have no clue what we are doing, but it will be a nice surprise.

Another funny story.......So again the kids are making comments about our organic eating. Taylor told Nana the other day that she did not want to eat organic food anymore and Rylee looks at my mom and says yeah Nana I want to eat chemicals again. This is such a big change for them. I can only imagine what they must be thinking. I thought they were going to cry when they found out we would no longer eat at McDonald's. Poor kids, but this is what is best for their health.

Hope all is well with everyone. I will try and post some new pictures soon.
